Here's an unusual pair: Notice the standard Barred Rock in the front and her sister behind her
'Lucky' IS a Barred Rock but why doesn't she have stripes like the others? She is unique, so she WON'T be going in the freezer this year. Makes her a lucky hen.
Looks like a Barred but actually a Maran, when this one lays, they will be 'chocolate eggs' (very dark brown), her name is Simone.
